Link Pop (SEs)
say you have 50 feeders all linked together and to larger sites.... If theyre all on the same IP will that kill your link popularity in SEs that factor Link pop. Does it depend on the individual spider or engine...? If so, is there non-spammer way to get by it.

Having everything on one IP almost certainly damages your position with most current SEs. Some people go to a fair amount of trouble to have a distributed footprint, spreading their domains out on different servers and class c IPs. Up until recently most people thought that google didn't penalize for sequential IPs, like you often get when you have a dedicated server or put all your domains on one server.
I think going to the trouble to get seperate IPs for each domain always pays for itself many times over. |
