Having everything on one IP almost certainly damages your position with most current SEs. Some people go to a fair amount of trouble to have a distributed footprint, spreading their domains out on different servers and class c IPs. Up until recently most people thought that google didn't penalize for sequential IPs, like you often get when you have a dedicated server or put all your domains on one server.
I think going to the trouble to get seperate IPs for each domain always pays for itself many times over.
