www.bmwusa.com has a MSRP of $46,545...I'm sure you and the sale rep could agree on a price of somewhere between $51K & $46.5K ? Personally...I'd take that $50K, and buy this: http://user.tninet.se/~bjx414c/wild3004.jpg Of course, this stock 300zx would need a lot of 'aftermarket' work done..but hey..it's what I like! c'ya |

0-60 in 4.7 155mph top But the fact that it is a 3 series, I can't get the notion of it being a base model out of my head. It's like buying a Mercedes C32 AMG for 58K.. it's still a "C" Class I can get for 30K...ya know? |

What percent of the sale amount over the dealer's invoice was yours? How does it work? I need some inside information. ![]() |

Prowler will be my next car, unless I go with the new Roush Stage 3 Mustang.
In any case NO Chevy's for me (although the Z06 Is pretty sick), Ill stick with my 2k2 GT worked to the balls, just the way I like it! Xtc |

But, I've been a HUGE fan of the 300zx for Years...and speaking of 'being different'...I found this "Z" on the net recently and will have to say that I think this car would get more pussy then anyone driving a Viper... http://user.tninet.se/~bjx414c/newjacke7.jpg as for bying a used Viper and adding $4k worth of upgrades, I'd like to know..really...what mods you'd be needing to get...

sometimes I think it's too bad Ferrari cracked down on those kit car companies that were offering 'replicas' of their cars, as I've seen some pretty sweet ones!
(Best one I ever saw was a few years ago in "Kit Car Magazine" and it was put out by a company called "Warlock"...they were the ones that made the 355spider that was in the film "The Rock"... Turnkey was around $35K I believe...based on a Ferrio donor car and then stretched to get the same lenght as the real one!

Shit, that F1 is only starting at 20K? Wonder what is sells for final?
Isn't that a very rare car? That thing has got to be worth much more. Kit cars can kick some serious ass. I saw a replica of the old Ford GT40 LeMans racer. It had a tubular frame chassis, kick ass suspension (1.0g+ on skidpad), and a worked Ford 302. The power to weight ratio was unreal, the thing was able to do 220 m.p.h., and since it was lightweight, it had great braking (under sub 220 m.p.h. conditions I would imagine I also saw some killer Porsche 917 race car replicas that looked kick ass. And of course, the king of kit cars is the Cobra replica. |
