Fuck Best Buy

I bought a monitor there in July, and it is now dead.

Of course, the manufacturer is being a real pain in the ass.

I am sending it back (at my expense of course) only to have it as a backup for the new Dell I just bought.

I work for Future Shop which is now the Daughter company of Best Buy, and the rules say that the stores costumer support is suppose to send out the product under the first years manufacturers woranty at its own expense. So go there and tell them that!

Ya... not sure whats up with the folks at your local shop, but Best Buy is great, in my book.. in my experience, their customer service sure beats the hell outta Fry's.

I know a cat who claims that Fry's called the police on him and had him escorted off premise simple because he refused to stop entering prices into his PDA, as he was doing some comparative shopping.

Similar situation. I dropped a brand new phone there, one that I JUST BOUGHT. Busted it. They just opened a new box on the spot, transfered my service to it, and then the funny part...

LOL

The rep didn't hand it to me until I was outside...

He just meant it to be funny, but still, $300 he saved me when he could have been a jerk.
