Problems Sending mail with Thunderbird!

I can receive mails but I cannot send them out!

''An error occurred while sending mail. The mail server responded: sorry, sender mail address must correspond to local mail domain (#5.7.1). Please verify that your email is correct in your Mail preferences and try again.''

There's nothing wrong with the server or email addresses I'm trying to mail too

Let me know if you have any tips

Tell the server admin to add the domain you're sending from to the local domains list with the mail server.

Sounds like the settings on your SMTP server are restricting access except if you are on the local domain network.
