Jordan, component will likely be your best bet. Look for something that looks like thick RCA cables.

Or, if it's new and shit-hot, look for an HDMI interface.

Failing that, look for whatever plugs match both the tv and the cable box, receiver, or dvd player.

component best
s-video next (single, round connector with four pins inside)
Composite if you must
COAX last chance. your monitor prob doesn't even have this.

Best of luck

BP

My installer told me not to spend a fortune on wires but not to buy radio shack crap. I bought middle of the road wiring but I doubt you would ever see the difference if I had bought top of the line wiring.

Get a HDMI cable for your digital box(the newest rogers boxes have HDMI) and component wires for your DVD. As far as brand goes, go with Monster. You will also need a high end power bar with TV filter. The 3 should cost you about $400 but you wont beilve the difference it will make.

Enjoy your TV

There is really no top of the line. Most cables are cables.

Quality goes like this

composite (yellow red white)
s video
component (red green blue)
hdmi/dvi

if your set and boxes support dvi and or hdmi, you want to use them. beware though. your tv may not have both hdmi and dvi. very common not to. if your boxes are dvi and your tv is hdmi, outta luck :/

they will tel you what im going to say. they are over prices and the quality can be had for a fraction of the price elsewhere.

When spending 4K on a TV I dont think one should try to save a couple hunderd on cables hehe. Heck, even if they improve 1 pixle its worth it. But thats just me

If it,s a new TV then the cable types that can be used for it will/should be identified in the owners manual.

Since component video provides the best picture quality among analog connections, it benefits the most from better cables, thus my recommendation for higher quality cables- such as monster.

nice set.
looks like you need to go with component hookups as there's no HDMI slot on this TV. also, to protect your investment, i'd look into getting a power cleaner like the one Ray posted above.

I just bought a projector.. It's the best I have ever bought!

Xbox connected via a component cable... the DVD player (panny s77)'s connected via a cheap HDMI wire

Projector is the best way to go. Got to make sure you have good lighting conditions though.
