Assuming AMD has a 1.6GHz processor speed while Intel was at 1.1GHz, which one would you go for?

Eventho AMD has a faster processor speed, you guys would still pick the Centrino! Interesting.

buy AMD for power, buy Intel for (slow) reliability.
btw, processor core speeds have nothing to do in comparision when comparing AMD vs Intel. 2.4ghz AMD is equal to a 3.4ghz Pentium (depending on which chips of course)
