Assuming AMD has a 1.6GHz processor speed while Intel was at 1.1GHz, which one would you go for?

Eventho AMD has a faster processor speed, you guys would still pick the Centrino! Interesting.

AMD rules the CPU arena.

Besides gamers, most seem to prefer Intel over AMD!

semptron cpu's are made to compete with celeron cpu's from intel so the choice here is not that hard.

buy AMD for power, buy Intel for (slow) reliability.

btw, processor core speeds have nothing to do in comparision when comparing AMD vs Intel.

2.4ghz AMD is equal to a 3.4ghz Pentium (depending on which chips of course)
