clean as a whistle ? is that a saying ? i would think whistles would be dirty. I have never seen anyone "washing" a whistle , and people stick them in their mouths and blow spit in them and such

While I would love to joke around about this it seems the asshole is trying to rip me off so I am not exactly in a joking mood right now.

Okay, in case someone else did not understand

Some chick with ePassporte account JenaLynn wanted to do a $500+ epass to Paypal transfer on 12/16/05. I just logged in to discover I had a -$575 balance because of a hold on the money that was deposited to my account by her.

Unfortunately you'll probably never see the money again.

P.S., I know we are all friends here but a partner and I looked into doing things like transfers / check cashing for foreign webmasters and the legalities involved were enough to deter anyone doing it as a small biz.

Yeah I just meant for the people that do them from time to time when someone asks. The laws were pretty hardcore from what I remember and the penalties weren't fun, US and Canada.

Well, I just got off the phone with Paypal, and while I hear a lot of people complain about the customer service there I have to disagree.

I was not exactly pleased with the answers I was getting from the front line rep, so I asked to speak with a supervisor. He was professional, and resent the original email that I had deleted as spam.

What is looks like is that this person forgot that they sent me $$ for the transfer so they initiated the dispute.

Those of you that request a paypal to epass transfer from me in the future can thank them when I tell you no way. All I can say is that I am glad I don't keep a balance in my Paypal account.

Well, I got their phone number and talked to her on the phone . . . I have a feeling she will be making it right, but I am not sure that I will be doing any favors for people any more.

in a situation such as this, a paypal account with the name "Clean As A Whistle" just sounds like a scam from the beginning. I would have never done it, or at least questioned the account name hehe.

Well, we just got done talking again, and apparently, this is what happened.

She sold an XBox on Ebay. Buyer said they never got it, so Paypal is putting a hold on any money that she has sent out subsequent to receiving the payment for the XBox.
