Hmmm not massivly techie but here goes... Canon Eos 10D... shooting on a f4... 250 speed... with flash white balance as I am shooting with Elinchrome 600S lights... set at 106 (what ever that is !) using one light with a full length soft box, and bouncing the light off the ceiling... also a normal room light on, not sure if that would influence anything... as I say walls are magnolia...

read this to get more familiar with your camera:

try setting your WB at:

and try shooting at 100 speed... i think you should be fine with it... if too slow, then go with 400...

when you're shooting her, zoom on her face and focus, then zoom out and snap pic... and meter a midpoint(between dark and light) off of her for lighting.... this way her face will be in focus... alot of ur shots her face is blurry..

keep a spot light close to her, and flash strong from far and light up the back and front... white sheets on the floor where light would bounce will help also

re: WB

have model hold a standard color chart (macbeth, jobo, etc) in a shot including her skin, this gives you a color referent so you can batch correct.

use an "average shooting distance" to make these shots and bracket the exposures one stop up and one stop down in 1/3 stop incremements (because incorrect exposure will affect WB with under exposure usually running yellow with most cameras).

if you are working on manual using strobes as you change distance you must constantly tweak f/stop to keep your exposures in a very tight range so you can batch correct WB.
