read this to get more familiar with your camera:

try setting your WB at:

and try shooting at 100 speed... i think you should be fine with it... if too slow, then go with 400...

when you're shooting her, zoom on her face and focus, then zoom out and snap pic... and meter a midpoint(between dark and light) off of her for lighting.... this way her face will be in focus... alot of ur shots her face is blurry..

keep a spot light close to her, and flash strong from far and light up the back and front... white sheets on the floor where light would bounce will help also
