Did you know that the guys in Queen didn't know for a very long time that Freddy was gay? I mean, how could they NOT notice?

Anyway, when Queen was on top, and Freddy gay as never before , he demanded naked guys on silverplates carried in to him after the shows.

Freddy Mercury is one best male singers of all time. His death was a real loss.

I saw on a vh-1 thing that Elton John said he was bi in a magazine article and his album sales tanked horribly. Then he got married and said he was straight and his career came back

He was bi. And his band DID know that. In fact, at the "Farewell" concert Queen performed a few years ago..the lead guitarist in an interview that aired during the concert said that Freddie simply "loved sex"..whoever it was with. He went out doing his thing you can say.

Back in the mid 80's there was a club we used to go to that had a video jukebox with "I Want to Break Free" by Queen on it. We must have watched that video 1000 times over a couple of years... I remember it was #420
