You could ask but it would be a serious pain in the ass for them to do...

Why dont you copy the cd to your hard-drive and upload it to the server?

thats a hell of alot less work...

Alot of hosts would do that for you... email them. They'd do it simply to keep you from tying up system resources for so long.

All universites in Sweden got 155 MBIT and very soon 2.5GBIT (they're upgrading right now)...
