We're finally back...with Verotel!

After dropping our former merchant account last December, we're happy to report that Kastle Archives Productions is back in business for new signups...with Verotel.

Both paysites are being freshly updated with all-new original content (which, btw...is exclusive to our sites)...and we look forward to welcoming back all former members and extend greetings to all new customers.

We've also upgraded with new state-of-the-art servers and offer blazing speed on the sites.

I had horrible results when I set up a paysite with the TicketsClub setup.

It's worth it in the longrun to pay the Visa fees.

Verotel doesn't offer anything, totally up to the website owner to provide all that.

We'll try them for a while and see how they are. They'll be kept on a short leash, though.

I've been using Verotel for several years without a hitch.

Some parts of their system are definitely behind the times, but overall they are highly stable, pay like clockwork, and they offer a truly nice array of payment options.

The merchant account was held by the guy that does the hosting for us (a longtime personal friend)...and the bankers never really provided him with a reason why they dropped the account. We suspect they were just being pressured from above because of the nature of the adult/BDSM content.

If you read his earlier post, it clearly says that his sites have BDSM content - and the terms of service for infinitybilling.com clearly exclude "sadistic content." Of course, it won't be much longer until that restriction is imposed on all the US billing companies, at this rate.

I am fully aware that it is BDSM content. Infinity Billing is not the solution I was going to provide him with, it just happens to be in my email

I have used Verotel for over 3 years and they have NEVER missed a single payment. They have great geo/multi-currency/pricing features and even TicketsClub sales have picked up dramatically for me over the past couple months.

They have endured all the CC-reg-related ups/downs of past years, and they are a good and reliable solution for many site owners.

I have heard that Verotel Pro is even better.

Sorry about that; I made an assumption, and should have asked about it first.

Silent Knight:

Verotel is talking about starting a "domain depot" - as they explained it to me, any site billing through them will have to use them as their domain registrar instead of network solutions, godaddy, etc. I am not sure how far along they are with their plans on this yet.

Registrars have a lot of power, since they actually possess the domains; registrants don't...

It appears Verotel is seeking to hold website domains "hostage" in a matter of speaking.

Anyone who transfers domains of any value (that includes traffic) to Verotel does so at great risk of domain loss with little to no recourse.

Ron

I vaguely recall hearing something about that a while back, but at this stage they haven't made that a mandatory requirement. But we'll definitely keep a close eye on things with that regard. We'll drop'em like a hot potato if they insist on implementing that sort of arrangement.

Congrats SN!!

We've used Verotel as part processors for a few years now and no problems whatsoever!

BTW.. You are probably already aware, but for the benefit of others reading, webmaster funds with Verotel are monitored by a third party and Verotel are not given contol of webmaster funds to spend as they may wish as in the iBill instance.

The operating company is also based in the EU where there is more security and laws regarding the handling of third party funds.

Better chatting with Verotel direct - got a feeling they will resolve your query and cover your concerns!

Also check out SegPay.com if you have an EU presence.

We use verotel pro for quite a few of our sites, its great for volume sales as you get kick ass low rates. Their admin system is kind of outdated, but they bill and rebill really well plus for non usa webbies its great to charge in GBP or Euros, we have never had an issue with payments ever. There as safe as any other decent 3rd party biller. I just love seeing those £20.00 join email alerts coming in

I wonder why verotel is so far behind when it comes to providing the tools needed to run a successful affilliate program?

No it does not apply to Verotel PRO. It will eventually only apply to TicketsClub but we are not yet ready to register domains; my guess would be somewhere in the next 3 to 6 months.
