What is your favorite Twilight Zone Episode

One of my all time favorites...because it scared the living shit out of me when I was a kid....was the Talking Tina episode.

It was the episode where the abusive father is trying to get rid of his daughter's doll and before the shows over that scary little plastic bitch turns it's head and looks at the guy and says....
"hi I'm talking Tina and I'm going to kill you."

Fuck man....I never looked at my ventriliquist dummy the same ever again.

Nightmare at 20,000 feet, where the gremlin is tearing apart the airplane engine.

When Im flying, and run into any turbulance... I love to jump up out of my seat and start screaming like a crazy fuck.... "there's somthing out there! On the wing!" It always freaks out a few people.

My favorite is Time Enough At Last with Burgess Meredith. He's a bank teller who wishes everyone would leave him alone so he can just have time to read books. He accidently locks himself in the bank vault one day, right before a nuclear attack that kills off the human race (kinda hokey). Without people to bother him all the time, he finally has time to read all the books he wants... Then, at the last minute, he trips and falls, and breaks his coke-bottle glasses.

They still air the Twilight Zone?? when and in what channel? )I have Direct tv)

My favourite is the one where this woman found an amulet.. while digging in her yard. Whenever she said "Silence!" the time would stop.. to unfreeze it she would say "Talk!". She used it to her advantage til one day World War 3 started and nuclear missiles were launched to her country.. she said "Silence!" just before the impact.. and that's how the episode ends.

Then of course John Lithgow did it in the movie...but did you ever see him spoof that on 3rd Rock From The Sun?
Pretty funny shit.

The one where this guy has a stopwatch that can stop time...and he breaks it.

Dumbshit

Also the one where this guy has a polaroid that can take a snapshot into the future.

Time Enough at Last and
Nightmare at 20 000 feet are both very classic

but my favourite is Eye of the beholder
in which you hear nurses abnd doctors talking to a young lady who has just undergone cosmetic surgery for the nth time hoping she will look normal. Its her last chance at surgery.

Anyway the dialogue goes on for the length of the whole episode then finally at the end - the woman unveis her face - she looks liek a screen goddess from the 40's - but all the nurses scream!

The scene cuts to all the 'normal ' ppl - they all have pig faces

Pretty tripped out

I liked the episode where they guy has a zippo lighter that he is so proud of ... and bets people that he can light it ten times in a row with the snap of his fingers ... or they can cut one of his fingers off ...

I forget what the title of the episode was ... but in the final scene he is driving down the road ... and he only has like 2 fingers on his left hand on the steering wheel ...

No but I do remember the one where the mannequins become human for a day...and the lady gets stuck in the department store and starts to think she's hallucinating when she hears voices...only to find out she was a mannequin on her one day out as a human and it was time to come home.

Always been my favourite too.. But the movie version, not the original Shatner version (although that was good too).

Still freaks me to this day.

Jason.

That was "the man from Rio" episode of "the Alfred Hitchcock show" it starred Starred steve macqueen and Peter Lorre

Quentin tarantino Reenacted it in the movie Four rooms - he played one of the characters along with Bruce Wiliis
I watched the DVD the other night so its still fresh in my memory

If you haven't seen four rooms yet - go hire it , its a blast

That one you guys are referring to (I think!) is "It's a Good Life" with Billy Mumy, which is also my favorite...it's the episode where the entire town fears him because he has the power to disfigure them etc., and wish them away to the cornfield....CLASSIC!

My second favorite is the one where Billy's (Mumy again!) Grandmother dies and he can still contact her through his toy telephone.....yeeeeeeAAAAAAAAAAAAH!!!

Man these are all so classic...the telephone one is another one of my favorites...

I also liked the one where the old lady is being terrorized by these tiny little robots from "outer space."

She ends up going to the top of the roof and finding their space ship and while destroying it you hear the guy screaming into the radio messaging back to EARTH that it's a dangerous place.

There were always twists like that.
