the only way to have a true se comp is to use "existing keywords" or something randomly created at the inception of the contest.. otherwise i could just start the competition then tell my friend the keywords before it started , get 100 seo people all to drop links to my page in hopes of winning a prize thats impossible to win. a better way to choose the keywords is to do something like " the first letter of each of the top 8 news stories on yahoo for the day it starts " that way theres no way someone could pre-seo the keywords

i cant tell if your being sarcastic or oblivious ( or funny ) I haven' heard of many contest's that " the best person" wins.. although i guess that all depends on what you mean by "the best person". I'm pretty sure you can agree many contests are rigged.. ( like the famous mcdonalds fiasco ) then add in the internet factor ( 99% on the internet is lies ) and your not looking at very good numbers in favour of " the best person" winning
