Kobe Scores 62 points in 3 Quarters!

and then calls it a night. Phil Jackson has totally turned this Lakers team around. They are on a roll and have beaten some of the best teams in the league lately!

I'm sure he would have surpassed the Laker record(71 points) if they would have left him in after the 3rd quarter. Dallas needs to wake up and improve their D if they ever want a championship. Lakers beat em twice in the last week and they are ranked 2nd in the ESPN Power Rankings.

It's sad that no one else scored in double digits for them, though.

I saw something more impressive tonight.

Providence College Friars went on a 31-0 run vs. a team that was #3 in scoring in the country.

Not too shabby.

yeah but it doesn't matter. One of the commentators was ripping Kobe for that, but it doesn't matter how many shots the guy takes as long as he makes them. Why the hell would you give it to anyone else when the guy is so hot? When Kobe's shot percentage drops, then that's another matter and he should pass it more, but as long as he keeps making the shots and wins....

ah, I dunno... they are on what, an 8-2 run? And the games they lost they should have won, blowing huge leads. Beat the Grizzlies, Bucks, Mavericks twice, Bulls, etc. These are some of the best teams. PJ is turning this team around and who knows where they will end up. I think they will make the playoffs for sure this year, at least. Lakers vs. Heat Christmas Day should be a good one

He wasn't making all of his shots. He was getting fouled all night which meant he had the ball the whole game.

22-25 FT's

He's a fucking ball hog, that team will never win another championship with him scoring 60+ per game. They won't win another championship for a long time though anyhow.

I hate that fucking rapist...

But the FT's prove my point that he hogged it.

Regardless, he did shoot well. But I just can't stand that - then again, I can't stand "today's" NBA.

Kobe is second in the league in points per game. ( This statistic hasnt included tonights game)

But he does average 4.5 assists per game. Out of the top ten scorers in the league only 3 pepole average more assits per game.

Kobe is a well rounded player. Quit hating.

Kobe is doing great. He's a great player, but that doesnt matter. The "best teams" are the ones that make it to the finals, not the "best players".

Hogged what?

No player (Except Lamar Odom) has more assits on the Lakers but Kobe Bryant.

Yeah he's not just a scorer. He's a great defender and great clutch player.
