I'm sure he would have surpassed the Laker record(71 points) if they would have left him in after the 3rd quarter. Dallas needs to wake up and improve their D if they ever want a championship. Lakers beat em twice in the last week and they are ranked 2nd in the ESPN Power Rankings.

It's sad that no one else scored in double digits for them, though.

yeah but it doesn't matter. One of the commentators was ripping Kobe for that, but it doesn't matter how many shots the guy takes as long as he makes them. Why the hell would you give it to anyone else when the guy is so hot? When Kobe's shot percentage drops, then that's another matter and he should pass it more, but as long as he keeps making the shots and wins....

ah, I dunno... they are on what, an 8-2 run? And the games they lost they should have won, blowing huge leads. Beat the Grizzlies, Bucks, Mavericks twice, Bulls, etc. These are some of the best teams. PJ is turning this team around and who knows where they will end up. I think they will make the playoffs for sure this year, at least. Lakers vs. Heat Christmas Day should be a good one :thumbsup

But he does average 4.5 assists per game. Out of the top ten scorers in the league only 3 pepole average more assits per game.
