Program owners - this is why i do use your program or not

Simplicity.

I want to find my linking code with 10 seconds.
I want to download promo content with 10 seconds.
etc.

Adult elite for example has a great setup. Point and click and with 2, max 3 clicks you have everything you need.

Why am i not using a program like ARS for instance? I have no CLUE whats going in their webmaster area. I want to promote them. Not learn how to use them first.

Frank why are you always crying?

man up, will ya?

FYI: ARS has great webmaster area. You just need to have half a brain and spend some time figuring things out.

That's his point (not the half of a brain part though - lol)... he likes simplicity... I know exactly what he is talking about. Some webmaster areas can be very confusing, and confusing enough to immediately be turned off by them...

I want to be able to grab all the FHG and HFS within 5 secondes with a text description per gallery in the format I want.

Well, making money takes some work.

Why do you all think that adult business is some game where you just have fun, don't do much and get paid good money?

Its not that ARS is that hard to figure out but why would i? I simply move on to the next program with nice sites but ones where i can start sending them traffic instead of figuring out their webmaster area.

Well, the thing is, if there were only 10 programs to promote i would spend time on the area webmaster area. But i can pick 100's of other programs that are potentially easier to work with.

weve got point n click, once you login to the webbie area its all copy n paste, fhg export, links, potds etc etc.

We didnt and I can tell you with the new V2 version signups for DTC are a LOT more and questions a lot less. So copy n paste works yes.

Listen, why would I copy it if I'm a surfer? Hello, this is your ass and that is your elbow... capiche?

You come into a thread where the guy is voicing his opinion (like you do every thread you post in) and you attempt to shit all over it. Every thread you create has absolutle NOTHING to do with this business...

Who's the surfer? Fuck off... you keep making yourself look more and more like a twat the more you post (or attempt to).

Franck, sounds like a great project for a simple but useful resource site with link codes organized by sponsor, niche, etc.

HOLY FUCKING SHIT.

There was a time when the webmaster made their own galleries, changed the FHG's to suit their purposes, bought their own content.

Why can't the webmaster get off his ass and do some work? They expect the sponsor to do all the work and still get a 40 dollar payout.

Sad to see this happen, in such a short period of time.

Thanks for using AE as an example of being simple to use. Both PimpRoll and AdultElite were designed to be very easy.
But seriously, ARS and others arent too hard either ;)
Even with simple to use interfaces, I always grab them in bulk and learn the variables/options so I can whip up whatever I need. Paste to a spreadsheet or simple database of some sort is a nice idea.

A few did, and the rest followed suit. People are inherently lazy. Webmasters wonder why they make less money, ummm.... you are all using the same FHG's, doing the exact same thing.

It's a sad vicious cycle.

I think you'll find Wildcash.com has one of the most simple promo material sections ever. Very easy and fast to find what your after. I totally agree, a few sponsors make it hard to find content but most aren't too bad these days.

hey, nobody's forcing you to make FHGs, give free content, free hosting etc
you can do business like it's 1996 again

the webmasters will simply move to a sponsor that makes their life easier

So you all market the same programs with the same content and methods and then wonder why it doesn't convert.... ???

LOL

I prefer programs that say "Nick get the surfer to me anyway you can , I'll convert it"

Never use a banner where a text link will do...

There's a big difference in not wanting to work, and not wanting to waste time though.

I've allways made my own stuff when promoting and never used fhg's and other hosted/premade stuff because i find that the self made promos simply sell better and make me more money, and i've never minded spending that time and work..

..however when having to search through a program to find my reff codes 4-5 pages deep just because the script comes with some options that aren't activated for the site anyways, then that's wasting the time i could have spent working.

Something that anoys me even more is downloading a lot of content that i can't use anyways because there wasn't a propper preview of what i was getting, programs like that i pretty soon just stop using as they just waste the time i could otherwise have been working with something more productive.

Good thing about it all though, is that when you get tirred enough of things like that you can make your own program and try to make things right Don't know if we did this with rewardthem, guess that would be for our affiliates to judge, but we sure did make things easy to get and made good previews for everything.

I agree mate. Don't get me wrong. I've had Franck as an affiliate, he is one of the few out there that knows what the Hell he's doing. It's the others who think just because Franck can do it, they can too and have no idea the time he spends or the quality of traffic he has.

I honestly don't get, if you don't like your affiliates then cut them off and use your own traffic

hell, if I was a program owner I'd love to have affiliates that send at least 50 signups a day, never bitch, never seek support, never bother me on ICQ, but unfortunately in real that doesn't happen

hell, if I was a program owner I'd love to have affiliates that send at least 50 signups a day, never bitch, never seek support, never bother me on ICQ, but unfortunately in real that doesn't happen
Every one want's affilaites that can send 50 signups a day, the sad truth is that anyone who can send 50 signups a day opens up their own program.

"Better to have 100 sending 1 a day, then 2 sending 50 a day" rings true. Unfortuantely, out of that 100, maybe 30 can send 1 or more a day.

You think it's complaining, I'm voicing my views on how different webmasters have become. Take it for what it's worth.

well, I'm hoping to have my own program by the end of next year (knocking on wood) so may be then I'll understand your point better, but I've seen so many threads on GFY where it's US vs THEM (sponsors vs affiliates) and they don't really make sense to me

are the affiliates more spoiled and demanding than 2-3 years ago? I'm sure they are but take a look how many programs they can choose from...

Might have something to do with when you send traffic to yourself you see signups from the same traffic go up 30% or more... ;-))

5k to the right outsourced design company gets you a handful of your own paysites ...spend a thou a mth on content...and you are away.

Good luck to you on opening your own program.

Affiliates are about the same 2 to 3 years ago, that's when all this FHG mania took off. Notice as well that having affiliate managers got real big to handle the affiliaite service.

As I said earlier, we had alot of traffic and signups, so we opened up our own pay sites circa 2000/2001.
