how can you make profit with a 500kb frontpage??
easy pic has a frontpage with 370kb only the html

Would guess mod_gzip reduces html quite a bit

Lane, I was thinking the same thing.
He is selling gallery spots though... I remember the email that he sent out a while back, $1000/mo for 30 guaranteed listings! Don't forget he owns picpost.com and moviepost too... |

He only has to do one paysite sale for every 70 000 visitors (if the paysite pays 35 bucks per sale)...
If you can't make 1 buck (cause that's what he probebly pays) per 2000 visitors your doing something wrong. |

easypic is one of my favourite tgps and moviepost also rocks. The bandwidth is not problem for them,big deal

cool, i'd never heard of mod_gzip, checked it out shit.. time for me to that get even if the hosted sites on my server aren't that big/popular it still cuts down in bandwidth and speed for visitors.

actually mod_gzip can compress to 1/4 i guess, that might be what he's using

haha. nah, i'm lazy i just downloaded a precompiled module and installed it and restarted the server teehee
