how the hell can he make profit if he burns 1gig per 2k visitors?

He is selling gallery spots though... I remember the email that he sent out a while back, $1000/mo for 30 guaranteed listings!

Don't forget he owns picpost.com and moviepost too...

He only has to do one paysite sale for every 70 000 visitors (if the paysite pays 35 bucks per sale)...

If you can't make 1 buck (cause that's what he probebly pays) per 2000 visitors your doing something wrong.

Doesn't the Easypic family operate more sites with plenty of traffic ?

easypic is one of my favourite tgps and moviepost also rocks. The bandwidth is not problem for them,big deal

They pay 2 cents per gig.

cool, i'd never heard of mod_gzip, checked it out shit.. time for me to that get even if the hosted sites on my server aren't that big/popular it still cuts down in bandwidth and speed for visitors.
