LOTS are still for sale and going at about 450$US

you can also buy power converters for around 50 bux aswell

the japanese system allows you to pick a lang to play in aswell so that is not an issue

99% of all 360 games will work aswell

am not impressed enough with the system to play the "be the first kid on the block with it" game, honestly never was and never will be. No matter how good they make a platform, the good ol computer I am on and the 2 next to those will still be superior.

Can you mod your games?.... not like i can with a simple download
Can you increase the display resolution drastically ....... no, not like i can with a better video car
Can your machine store as many games ......... to an extent but comp wins here also, i can have multiple harddrives that are the largest on the market
How about increase sound fadelity........ you lose again, better sound card out in a month or so

If the game is good enough it will probably make it to the comp if it did not start there in the first place, sure there are a few "only on" games out there but so what, wait till your friend runs out and competes with soccer moms to get the stuff and then reap the benifits by playing at his house.

Stop killing yourself to buy these things up, they will change their marketing and you the consumer wins. Nothing like seeing guys in a sausage party inflating a sub par chics ego by sweating her or watching video game price skyrocket because of "buy me" fever. Not like this system is not going to be replaced in a few years (sony and nintendo coming in about 6 months), look how nintendo has been raping the market since the N64 with that make a system, make some games, kill off, make another system rinse, wash, repeat.

what came with your 400.00 system? They still not packaging games in most systems because no one bitched enough when Sega did it back with the genesis and then let sony get away with when they released the psx? You can get a dell in that range or build your own system that will play games on the same level in the same price range. So then add your games, your controllers, your upgrades. most of the cost of a computer is in the monitor. Compare that to the cost of the tv you have to have to play your game and now the systems are running about what and what. I would still go spend double the cost of a platform on a pure gaming machine which could play multiple games than be locked into a contract of sorts with the exclusivity and limitations of the lineup of a platform on top of the worry that my xbox becomes xbox360 within 5 years and games for the original are cancelled, that i bought a dreamcast and sega goes belly up within 5 years, same on my ps2 to ps3 and by far the worst, my n64 to gamecube to whatever the hell the new one is being called.
