Freebsd all the way........hands down is the best. It is the most stable and secure os available at this time. Now dont get me wrong there are some flavors of Linux that are ok as well, but the best by far remains Freebsd.

I would have to say that OSX 10.4 server is my favort flavor of Unix for a server, but as much as I love it, freebsd is prob my choice over anything expect Debian.

It all depends on your needs.
Freebsd is great but it lacks some things. Redhat is great but it lacks some other things. Debian is great but it has flaws also. And then again I know a company who still runs a windows 3.11 box to poll all thier counting machines. It all depends on your specific needs. |
