No, it's not over my head. Every post you've made has been condescending at best. Everyone has different situations. Not every person can run to lose weight. Skinny people always assume that it's just this one simple thing that will "fix" us fatties. Not so. People are made different. What works for some would kill another. Most people who are obese would more than likely put themselves more at risk of a heart attack or stroke if they just picked up and started running today. I myself had a knee operation in 92. There is no way I could run, even if a grizzly bear was chasing me lol. I could give it a shot, but I'd be bear lunch within a matter of 10 feet. That's not because I am overweight, that's because my knee is fucked up.

I will agree with you that people who bitch about things, then do nothing to change them, should shut the fuck up. But to assume that every person can just jump on some exercise regimen that works for you is stupid.

I have lost 80 pounds this year btw, and not by running til I puke. 5 small meals a day, biking and light aerobic stuff...despite the knee.

Seriously though, I just get sick of all the "advice for people who you think need it" in this world. Don't you think us fatties have already heard it? Why make the same statement we've all heard 1000 times? Exactly...to make yourself feel better about you. That's all I am saying.

This is the program I was given to follow before I tried out for the Navy SEALs.

1st week: Walk one mile.
2nd week: Walk one mile, jog one mile, low impact
3rd week: run two miles
4th week: run three miles
5th week: run four to five miles

The purpose was for the first two weeks to get your joints used to the stress of running. Walking is definately the way to go.

No, I just say everything with sarcasm. Sure everyone can't run but those that want to can do something. If you aren't hurting other people I don't care if you like to stick flaming sticks up your ass so I damn sure don't care what you weigh. Actually man, I got this one place I go to that has this like 70 year old Vietnamese woman that does the pedicures and she can crack fucking walnuts with her bare hands I'd be willing to bet. She does my shit up right!!

Hey fucker... in August I was about 350lbs.. I am now 268 and still dropping. I was about 45% bodyfat, I am now 28% bodyfat.

If you are fat and want to lose weight, search for weight loss posts from WTS_Ben. This guy knows his shit and is one of the people who got me to start. He inspired me and I followed his plan pretty much to a T. At this rate, I will be my goal weight of 225lbs by Spring break... I hope to be 10-12% bodyfat by then.

I lift 4-5 days a week and do cardio 7 days a week. I eat healthy, small meals about 4-6 times a day. I have a cheat meal maybe once a month and even then it's Healthy, but not on my "plan".

You have to make a life change, I did and it works.
My wife joined me in my quest and went from post-baby weight of 210lbs and size 16+ to 150lbs and a size 2 (she is 5' 10"). Not bad. Helps in the motivation though. :-)

jogging is OK if you are very young.

but once over about age 20 it is more problematic due to shock stress on joints will usually will cause problems later in life.

swimming or bicycling is better IMO.
