Well, just thought as a professional PR person that "better more" would be a weird phrase to even come out of you. :winkwink: |
Quote:
too many people throw around the word PR person in this biz way too lightly |
Quote:
When this PR person isn't getting paid to piss He doesn't spellcheck or worry too much about grammar- Especially when I see words here butchered Like Fiancee- NOT FIONSAY or Decide- NOT DISIDE or Loser- not LOOSER Why should I even bother to correct myself whne half of the people who frequent this board haven't finished high school? |

How can someone who has never met me or used my services, think I am a moron? Oh I know- he believes everything he reads here. :1orglaugh |
the proper way to deal with this would have been to announce the parting, and the arrival of the new guy.

maybe because your a professional PR person? i dunnno :Oh crap |
OK KB. You have been told time and again, to stop trying to take care of yourself, and family,, and only put efforts into making the idiots at GFY happy!

some of the dutchies on this board ( Franck , PradaBoy ) are complete idiots and should not be taken seriously |
and the word professional is overused here on GFY also

and after my experience with MN and HerbalO anyone see this? (http://www.lukeisback.com/images/images/herbalo.pdf) and after seeing a ton of pill sites come and go- Do you blame me for being enthusiastic about a company I represent? I am not jumping on Oprah's couch anytime soon, but trust me when I say I am HAPPY withthem. :pimp :pimp :pimp :pimp |

without them I'd be a nobody :-)) I am a big fan of yours as well Pornstar2pac- You just "get it". :) |
This isn't my drama - business so all I will say is, in my 11 yrs online in this industry there have been lots of good companies online - Mens Niche is one of the companies in the "great" category. I shit you not.
We work with them on a daily basis and they are always very "professional" in all our dealings. Mens Niche has gone to #1 in the PE niche in a few short years and I belive pays out Millions of dollars to there affiliates. So after reading this drama ask yourself 1 question. Do I always get my check / wire from Mens Niche without hassle? I bet you do :) Peace Todd |

Dumbass! Dutchies are simply honest and we don't participate in the usual "kiss my ass, suck my cock and I'll throw you a bone" mentality. |

Hope you are well. No one is debating whether the get paid from MN or not They are debating how unprofessional of a press release that was... I think you will agree- it was as stupid as a thread about Pete KT leaving a company he was with for three mos... LOL |
Wow that PR was harsh! Even if true...prolly not a good idea to put it in written form to your affiliates. My 2 cents

Hi Kb, Doing ok, the holiday season is upon us. Mary and the kids are wrapping more and more presents as we speak.. Dang holiday season :) I didn't see the Pete thread so I dunno about that. While I might of wrote a different press release then the one posted / emailed about - hey they must of thought that was how they wanted to handle that. I dunno - just commenting on my personal and business experience with Mens Niche and Lativo... To be perfectly ohnest I never ever had a problem with Scott and didn't know there was a problem with his duties / job until I read this and saw the email. Happy Hannukah |

Darren is my competition. I hate the guy because his affiliates are loyal, and he has a great program going. I like him personally - when I met him I was impressed with his professionalism.
However I would never release an email like that to affiliates for any reason. Just because it goes against the acceptable grain of what to do when you let someone go. Not saying it's unprofessional or uncalled for, just saying I would never send something of that nature to anyone. |

I have deals with different programs and people that run the gamut from 3 mos to a year in some cases- I am a consulting firm, and a PR company and have notbeen anyone's employee since I worked for YNOT- Employee meaning that was my only job and I had health benefits- I now own my own company. I hope this clears up any misconceptions you may have about me and how I do my business. |
KB does business by jumping into former company threads and spamming his shit. Less professional than this press release we are discussing right now.

But highly effective when you are dealing with people who have lower IQ's :pimp |

Sure you aren't "anyone's employee"... Hows that "unique" reality show coming up, you know the one you were coming up with and been hyping for...well lots of time? |
There have been several replies in the other thread where it's obvious that people have had problems with this guy. We can only wonder at how much damage he has really done to the company.
I think a more tactfully worded press release would have been just as effective, perhaps inviting people who have had "communication issues" (cough) with their previous employee to contact their new one. Too late now, their foot is bleeding... let's hope they don't choke on the blood... |
Yep publically fireing someone is not good PR :2 cents:

I couldn't agree with this statement more. It's VERY obvious that this company isn't being run by business professionals..... |

is my TV show and here is a piece that complements what I am doing very nicely http://video.fox6.com/viewer/content...ID=16&Obj_ID=4 The big press starts after Sundance |
MensNiche are blaming their inability to properly manage a company on one guy.
MesnNiche should have supervised their employee. Instead, they relied on the guy to do 100% of their work and are now crying because things went the wrong way. It's their own fault, and them whining the way they are is immature to say the least. Learn to accept responsibilities for your own bad management. |

I haven't seen Scott post in the MN threads regarding his firing. Perhaps he is getting himself a good lawyer and will file a wrongful termination lawsuit (and possibly a defamation lawsuit, on the grounds that MN is deliberately making it difficult for him to seek other employment in the industry), in which case Scott keeping his mouth shut is a smart idea.
I'm appalled at the management of MN for sending out a press release like that. Any Management course will teach you to not talk about personnel issues publicly, especially not terminations, even if you are sure the firing is justified. You are only opening yourself up to a lawsuit, and all that the plaintiff has to show is that you are wrong on one point, and your whole case could be sunk. I guess if Scott walks away with a few million dollars in a settlement that you will be more careful next time. ADG Webmaster |

I hate it when FagM makes a post that I have to agree with. I wonder what the reaction would have been if Scott made a similar "press release" about him leaving MN and slammed them like he did them. Very unprofessional :2 cents: |
Well, some of you are simply playing idiots.
But as speaking about company, with all new improvements to websites, improved conversions and so forth, I am 100% sure the company will be one of the best in the market for many years to come. And so far it is number one in my sponsor list and here to stay! |
While I agree that the press release wasn't well handled I do want to chime in and say that MN are good people. Good people can make mistakes now and then.

Hindsight is a wonderful thing???
MensNiche has always been passionate about our affiliates being the driving force behind the business. Perhaps in this case I did put the protection and best interests of our affiliates over professionalism. Passion can be a dangerous emotion ? but it is also a quality that has kept us ahead of the game, and always will. We have a very family orientated approach to our affiliate members and staff alike, based on trust, respect and hard work, in this case all three foundations were put in jeopardy. The announcement was a reflection of MensNiche?s openness and honesty, both within the industry and among our affiliate partners. I can see how our passion for the business and respect for our affiliates may be taken as bitterness towards the ex-affiliate manager. If anyone?s opinion is tainted by this approach, or felt neglected by us in the past - get with THE program - Mensniche?s proof is in a very juicy pudding. Give us 5% of your trust and confidence - we?ll earn the other 95 very quickly indeed |
this is more and more funny now!
