Quick DL for designers: Color Snatch - GoFuckYourself.com

Hey all.. I was designing a site earlier and had to grab the color code off another web site.. up until now I never minded just doing a screen capture and selecting the color in Photoshop. But today I just didn't have the patience for it, so I whipped up this little app for future use. Hopefully some of you will find it as useful as I did.

PS - if you find any bugs or find something it's missing let me know, I put it together in a half hour and haven't thoroughly tested it yet

Time is money -- who has time for screen grabs when someone wants promo materials made for a site they already have, wants the colors to match but doesn't have the .psd's?

I just use the Colorzilla FF extention.

I agree that it's far from perfect -- it's adequate, but the zoom comes in handy from time to time.

I've used this one for quite a while. Actually it looks like they have a new version. My old one has current color and selected color feature so you can show two at once, and a button to copy the hex or rgb codes. I guess I'll have to check out the new one and see what they improved.

I'll check yours out too Dyna.. always looking for options

you can copy the hex by clicking on the color box, but not the rgb.. will add that as well, thx

you talking about profi? no need to use any picker if you know what the color. and if you're profi you know what is the color. anyway, PrtScr is a great solution too ;)
