in addition, it is tactless and disrespectful to make negative comments about appearance, especially when the person is participating in the thread, sans any mitigating factors

at one point i cared a lot for appearance, but then i grew to learn that appearance was only a part of a persons attractiveness, other virtues that MAY be considered are: personality, character, upbringing, manners, intelligence, maturity, similar interests, priorities, education, etc

I agree, I actually am not attracted to perfect 10s because I imagine they already knwo they're beautiful so complimenting them won't flatter them. Rather I find the 8's to be the best since they're usually a little self conscious and when you do compliment them you make their day.
