Monday Night Lock Of The Year!!!!!!!

Thats right people. This is the lock of the year. And I would definetly throw some cash on the UNDER.

EAGLES +4

Number 1 the eagles will win outright. And if they lose we will definetly cover the spread.

AND I KNOW THE PUBLIC IS BETTING UP SEATLE.

It i supposed to start snowing this afternoon and not stop till tomorow am. It will be snowing heavily throughout the game. Up to 8 inches in phila.

Eagles have been running the ball and playing great D the past few weeks and most impoirtantly Eagles have lost 1 game in the past 2 years at home and we should have won that (the monday night dallas game that we were up 20-7 with 3 minutes left and lost 21-20) besides last game of year last year against cin when they played 0 starters...

When They played Ladanian Tomlinson at home we gave up 7 yards on 17 carries. I don't expect them to do the same but look for a major effort. I know Seattle is 9-2 but seriously look who they have played. Its got to be the easist schedule in the NFL and 2 of the games they won they should have lost and just got lucky.

NYG 21 at SEA 24 Sunday 11/27/2005
SEA 27 at SF 25 Sunday 11/20/2005
STL 16 at SEA 31 Sunday 11/13/2005
SEA 33 at ARI 19 Sunday 11/06/2005
DAL 10 at SEA 13 Sunday 10/23/2005
HOU 10 at SEA 42 Sunday Night 10/16/2005
SEA 37 at STL 31 Sunday 10/09/2005
SEA 17 at WAS 20 Sunday 10/02/2005
ARI 12 at SEA 37 Sunday 09/25/2005
ATL 18 at SEA 21 Sunday 09/18/2005
SEA 14 at JAC 26 Sunday 09/11/2005

LOCK OF THE YEAR.

Eagles 16-14

6 of 9 of seatles wins are against, st louis twice, arizona twice, san francisco and houston

the other 3 wins were all at home by 3 points against Atlanta (after a monday night game), dallas and Ny giants (and dallas and Ny giants both lost the games beacuse the field goal kicker missed winning kicks

read the facts. its just common sense. Las Vegas sets the odds because of what they think the public will do.

seattle 9-2 verus 5-6 eagles.

but eagles schedule was 10 times harder than seattle's and the eagles have lost 1 game by 1 point in 2 years at home

Thanks man. I was leaning towards Seattle but this is the kind of info that makes a difference in a close one. Nice pick.

DUDE--trust me--he don't tell u about his losses--iv'e been betting a long time and lost a ton and the longer u do it the more u lose. For instance look at Michael Jordan.

I now just bet a little and try and have fun with it but don't take it too seriously

I just do it for fun now with a couple dollars..

this is just my predition and have have done amazingly well this year!!!

I am just pointing out that Seattle is the sucker bet of the year and the easy money in the Eagles.

i still like SEA big tyme. And if u wanna talk about easy schedules then look at INDY. If/when they lose it will be to SEA, the most underrated team out there. Look for Jurivicous (sp?) and Engram to have a decent night to take the load off Alexander.

Snow doesnt mean a game goes under. See OAK vs NE in the "snow job".

I think the Eagles are going to be the spoiler for Seattle, especially in Philly...

Seattle lucked out with their win against the Giants....and Seattle, notoriously, has trouble dealing with the Eagles...plus, as everyone has pointed out, Seattle's schedule has been against beatable opponents, for the most part.

On the other hand, the Eagles are injured and lacking T.O.

pretty simple--open an account then click on NFL and there it is.

Any team plus or minus means take the final score of the game and add or subtract from the final score!! its really simple....

I'd go with Howard on this one pretty easily. Eagles at home, nationally televised night game, weather will be a factor. I certainly don't expect an Eagle blowout to come up on Seattle's ass, but frankly, the Eagles will have to shoot themselves in all their collective feet not to be able to cover this.

Of course UCLA managed to kneecap themselves over the weekend.

Don't know if it's the lock of the year, but I agree with you and love the Eagles tonight myself. I have always used the "go against the general public" theory when betting and it is a successful theory. Typically when a line looks way to good to be true, and everyone is hitting hard one way, like they are pounding Seattle, I bet with the bookies/house and clean up.

I'm a huge Philly fan .. but you have to remember that teams change. Just cause Seattle had an easier season doesn't mean there not the better team right now. If this game was at the start of the season, I would be all over Philly, but its not and both teams are different now. Philly has gotten way worse and Seattle has gotten way better.

I pick Seattle -3.5 or 4 whatever you get. And the under is looking good too.

I pick Seattle -3.5 or 4 whatever you get. And the under is looking good too.
Look--I am from Philly and have bet against them this year quite a few times but again let me quote myself again:

"the other 3 wins were all at home by 3 points against Atlanta (after a monday night game), dallas and Ny giants (and dallas and Ny giants both lost the games beacuse the field goal kicker missed winning kicks"

Those 3 games they won against decent competition they all won by 3 points and in seattle. They have not played 1 tough team on the road this year. And 2 of the 3 games they won were because feely on the giants and Cortez from dallas (there feild goal kickers) both missed there field goals to win the game. Phila has a healthy Akers and he 1 of the best in the leaugue and in bad cold weather

Eagles season is over and they know it....
The weather shouldn't make this UNDER a lock, in fact it makes it harder to cover a WR who is cutting the lanes. I have seen plently of games like this one go over so dont be fooled. What you guys need to realize is the fact that if these teams were dead equal then the line would be PHI-3 since they are home. But they are +4 which shows that the EXPERT odds makers know that SEA is a superior team, by a TD at least. I like SEA and i'm gonna ride that bitch ino the sunset. Forget the o/u since they have a deep history of "pushing" on a night like this when you have a lock like SEA, Vegas hates to get cracked on a parlay.

you may be right on the total..I am staying away from it. But read my facts on this post. Seattle will lose tonight and if they win they will not cover!!!!!!!

u really need to look at who seattle has played and who the eagles have played as well as where they played. You betting with the public.

AND your dead wrong about how vegas sets the line. its based on who they think will bet what. the true line should be a pick...

Too late, my money's already on the Seahawks.

This just isn't Philly's year, but a lot of die-hard fans are hanging on to hope and unwilling to face it.

I predict the Seahawks will prove their worth in this game, and then go on to give the Dolts a run for their money when they play them.

Seattle: 28
Philly: 17

I am a diehard fan but have already given up on the season. The eagles will not make the playoffs. I know that. But they will win and at the least cover..

As i said before I have bet against the eagles most weeks, but not when they are home.

Eagles 16-14

Howard, if I did not already have my bets for this week placed I would offer to go a couple hundred with you on this.

If you're looking to make a few last-minute friendly wagers I'm sure there are a few guys here that will oblige you though. :D
