It should only take about a week to go through (I asked the teller earlier this afternoon).

And I'll definitely post whether it bounces or not. I doubt it will. This is not one of those instances where they'd want to bounce a cheque, trust me.

No.

They paid me **MY* money. If you haven't been paid...its because they still have it. My money isn't your money or anyone else's. I don't dictate to them how much they pay - I simply asked for the amount owed to me. It was up to iBill to resolve the funding allocation.

Ibill paid you less than 10 grand!!!!? What was it 10 bucks? Big deal. I don't know why they would bother paying you your 10 bucks, unless it was just to get you to say you were paid in full. Wasted thread. SFW.

I see ... So basically, you sort of say that they had your money in " escrow" in one account, mine in another account or so on...
That all the ' monies owed" are not from one single merged account ...

They are insolvent ( ie: they cannot pay what they owe and cannot see a date when they can), so by paying one in full, they are commiting fraud.

I'm happy for you, and honestly I wrote what is owed to me off a long time ago along with the Globill amount...

But there actions are not only illegal but immoral

HEY !!!!
You and others bashing Silent Knight havenīt got a clue about the amount. It could be 10 bucks or it could be $9,999 - You donīt know that.

It doesnīt matter how much it is, itīs still his money and he earned them.

Instead of bashing Silent Knight you should go after Ibill since they are the ones who fucked up and still keeps fucking up. You canīt blame the man for getting his money.

Congrats SK - hope it will my turn sometimes soon.

So I guess the lesson here is that if you are owed under 10k, raise major hell on the adult webmaster boards day and night and iBill might cave and pay you to shut up. Check, got it.

Did they pay you interest on the funds they stole for a year ??

Seems strange they would pay you out of the blue with no requests when the standard ibill line these days is " if you make us your primary biller we will start paying you some of your money "

Seems like they are shooting themselves int he foot again.. I was promised i would get my money if i promoted ibill, now you got your money and didnt agree to anything . hmmm

I bet they paid the interest. Let's see, on $10, probably paid a nice round $13!!! Less than 10 Grand, but it's none of our business how much it was. It was none of our business that they paid you either, buy you sure didn't mind telling us that.

Doesnīt matter how much it was - It was his money and you should blame Ibill for the mess not SL. Iīm for one is glad to know that they paid someone, still "some" hope for the rest of you. I donīt understand how you can be mad at SL for posting that he got paid, heīs not the one who deserves your anger.

Seriously, people should blame Ibill not the webmaster who got paid after waiting 15 months. Just trying to direct the attention to right place, itīs not his fault that the rest of us is still waiting for our money.

People do blame Ibill. Let's just say we are a bit suspicious, when someone says they were paid in full without the demands that ibill is making on everyone else. Then comes here and shouts he was paid, but its none of our business how much he got. So what, he got paid $10 to come here and post for ibill. This affects the zillion webmasters that are owed more than $10 how?

Check all my other iBill-related posts in the various threads, dumbass. I've been one of the most outspoken opponents to them since joining GFY.

iBill nearly drove my production company to bankruptcy since last Sept. Do you really fucking think if they paid me only $10 that I would come here and publically say anything positive? Shake your head.

The amount was in four digits - and the exact amount is nobody's business.

You go on being "suspicious". I don't give a fuck. Makes no difference to me. I owe you no further justification of my posts or statements.

Exactly, thanks Claude.

People will bash anyone...just for the sake of bashing. At this point I don't really care - since I've gotten my revenues. That's all that matters. I posted about being paid simply to relate my experience and provide a small glimmer of hope that others may soon be paid also.

But if people would sooner waste their time bashing my statements rather than direct that effort and energy at iBill - that's just their ridiculous perrogative.

Those with half a brain can easily look back through all my posts here to GFY to see the level of animosity I've long held against iBill. I didn't simply 'hop on the forum' and make an "I got paid" post. But...then again, its much easier to simply bash out of ignorance rather than look at posting history.

No, there was no interest paid on the revenues they owed. We didn't insist on that. Given the circumstances, we were content to simply get the money owed from last Sept.

A lot of this has to do with the email exchanges and phone calls between us and iBill - behind the scenes.

Did they give you enough money to pay the affiliates as well, or do the individual affiliates still have to wait until the devil hosts the winter olympics to get paid?

We have no affiliate programs - we're simply affiliates ourselves.

Silent, you have the right to celebrate. It is good that you got paid. But for people that are owed real money, your payment means nothing, except good PR for a company that owes millions, and is forcing them to use them again to get what was stolen.

People in your boat, owed 4 figures or less should probably scream about it here. For them your payment offers hope. It just needs to be said here, that it means nothing. Ibill can't pay 4 figures and then point to you as a webmaster being paid without major laughter from the community as a whole, IMO.

Rooftop? Naw, last time I checked my ip cable runs in to my 3rd-floor office, allowing me to post from the comfort of my workstation.

So... 4-digits represents only $1,000 to you.

Next time the phone rings - odds are its not Mensa.

Had you taken more than a brief moment before hitting send on your above comment - you might have considered all the issues concerning bankruptcy. In the case of iBill - bankruptcy isn't based solely on money owing. Any experienced webmaster will tell you about sales momentum - and what happens when you're forced to cut loose your recurring customer base when you switch to a different transaction processor. Effectively, a lot of wind spills from the sails. You're basically forced to start at ground-zero, enticing former customers back in to the fold.

When iBill stopped payments to us last Sept/'04 - we immediately dumped their service. And along with that...recurring memberships on all our sites. Not only were we not getting paid by iBill - we could no longer rely on income from recurring subscriptions.

Combined with the direct halt of iBill payments, that's what nearly bankrupted us.

But you would already know that, since you obviously assume to know everything in this thread.

Then my suggestion to you at this point is - redouble your efforts at getting YOUR money from iBill, if you haven't been paid. Sitting there bashing the fact that I got paid is accomplishing sweet FA for you. Hey, I'm still sympathetic to all my fellow colleagues in this industry who haven't been paid yet. And I'm not saying the fact that I got paid is anything more than just that. But instead of bitching about my recent good fortune, you should take my experience as some inspiration that payment does happen. Stop being a glass-half-empty individual, get motivated...and do the same as we did. Bash the shit out of iBill publicly. Take names and badger them relentlessly like we did. Email and call them daily. Make them look like bigger fools in public every time they post.

In our case - the key to it was perseverance. We never let up. Mostly we got paid because I'm assuming they simply got tired of hearing from me and reading my extremely negative public posts. I'm not saying this will work for everyone. But its certainly better than carping to someone like me as you've done for your last half-dozen posts.

Stop bitchin' to the choir here and work out your best tactical strategy against iBill for yourself.

Its more correct to say I earned the money back in Sept/'04 with the revenues my websites generated. You can't "earn" money that is already yours legally to begin with.

It would be more accurate to say we succeeded in getting the money that was owed to us.

But you're quite right by saying "kicking ass and taking names". That's what its all about.

This was a publicity coup for Ibill . . no question. Paid in full . . and there are many others with the same good story. Maybe this will be the turning point for Ibill.

It is time for us to reconsider and sign up as one of their returning customers. Then you wiil go to the head of the line when payment time rolls around!

You are right about some of that. I take his post as small hope that I might get paid as well. I believe his intentions were to give other webmasters hope, not to polish Ibillīs glory (in fact I know he has been very, very opposed to the way does "business"). I prefer to know what going on with the "Ibill situation" and Ibillīs not telling me jack shit. Therefore, as small a piece of the puzzle as it is, SKīs post does give me some information.

I donīt think his post gives Ibill any good PR, quite the opposite in fact.

Exactly - and Webmeister...I'll thank you not to purport to be speaking on our behalf, either.

As a merchant owner got everything paid from inteca, after 7 months... was a lot of headache to pay from own pocket to webmasters within that 7 months.
But anyhow was a good move from ibill to do not change the name and start from blank list and to pay to everybody.

But, wouldn't use ibill anymore... it was not that easy turn guys

Asshole... I got paid by using a lot of effort and tolerating iBill's bullshit. I have NOTHING good to say about them and sure will never be associating with them again. It's too much trouble dealing with liars and incompetents.

Shut your stupid mouth talking about "malcontents" - these are the majority of the iBill client list in the US who still have not been paid.

iBill are going weaker by the day and it's very easy to write them off - I did this last year.

Now... finally.. Go fuck yourself

BTW... Tell your friends at iBill they still owe money to webmasters outside the US as well.

If and when these people are ever paid - I'll be pleased to make this known. iBill know them very well and have lied and bullshitted them as well.

This shit needs a website or pdf book published with all the crappy communications along with the famous quotes from Galanis and co since they took over. And best places to send complimentary copies are the FTC and Florida Attorney Generals office.

For the first time in your limited post history you make one correct statement there are a lot of unhappy people posting about how Iball's fucked them over and continue to do so. But you are deluded if you think Iball's will recover from their latest fuck up. Iball's is going down and going down soon. These post will never stop until all webmasters and affiliates are paid in full with interest.

And as an Iball's lackey you know as well as i do that is never going to happen. CCbill and Epoch have acquired all the accounts Iball's had and Iball's offering 10% fees will not con people into sign up will them ever again. So face facts you are fighting a losing cause, Iball's is finished, a washed up, dried up husk that has coned people for the last time. If you hurry Mc Dees may still have an opening for you.
