3d studio max, love the program use it myself, but you guys need alot of work on your lighting and textures, but that is a very nice start modeling wise

yup. Lighting and textures are what sell. Models can be infinitely complex, but texture and realistic lighting are what make it look good.

I haven't done 3d in years now, but texturing was damn hard. Usually companies have painters do textures. its more of a 2d skill in my opinion.

What do you use to render?

Dont most packages offer global illumination and the such out of the box nowadays?

Back when 3dsmax 4 would out, I think Brazil and Mental Ray were the only ones.

Very nice work! I dabbled with Maya when I was in school but got out of it to pursue other things. I really wish I would have stuck with it.

If i am not doing any production ill just use standered GI but I use mental ray, and brazil

We deffinitely could. The comment someone else made though rings true that it would be pretty pricey.

We could do a 3d look with lower detail within 3 days or so, which would price it at 600.

Super high detail of a human can take a couple of weeks though. A lot of rendering
