The examples of earlier tour designs are nice but they don't discredit Alien's claim of innovation of that particular style... His use of the large format pics for examples, free of tons of graphical text, is what I noticed right off the bat. Some might point to the obviousness of such a move but you just don't see anyone doing it that way - sometimes something so simple can make all the difference in creating a great change of perspective. For me, it doesn't look like all the other copycat tours out there for that one simple reason.
I could certainly point out other aspects that I like about it but they have more to do with good design choices and don't necessarily represent anything "new" just smart moves that represent good design skills. |

Well I will notify them about some of the imperfect text to a degree, but at the same time I try and keep a tour "Street". But those typos were not intended they will be looked into. Not that the ratio's really dictate that perfect spelling is a must:) Them Swank tours are doing great and ya peeps should give em a throw:) |
