NetSol...
Is it possible to transfer a domain from them to a different registrar? I've heard nightmare stories about dealing with them.
I can't believe how stupid I was a year ago... Thanks. ![]() |

NetSol sux! So bad that we are currently building a reg site of our own so we have full control over our sites. Some of the other reg sites are good as well.

personally, NetSol and Register.com are my 2 worst nightmares for transfers.
:and now they've implemented a "locking" feature restricting transfers officially. They're not supposed to use it, except at the registrant's EXPRESS request, but expect dirty play. - a concerned sysadmin (had to try the smilies ... sorry !)

Actually the main problem with Netsol started when Verisign took over.
those guys are just fucking morons. I have hd problems with each and every fucking domain I registered with them. God forbid. If some of you can remember netsol didnt have a password systme a while back. then verisign came along and says they need your password to do anything. they dont want to understand that people have not prvided them with passwords. things started getting so messy with these idiots that they shut down the online live "help" for domain names. anyway. screw netsol screw verisign. using godaddy at the moment. they are ok. largest registrar at the moment. cheers.

I transfered some domains from netsol last week. I transfered to godaddy and the only thing I had to do was to click a link in a mail and answer netsols automated email. And it was transfered no problems.
I hate netverksolutions now versign. The only reason they don't lower their prises is because they have 18 million domain names that was registerd when they where the only one to register with. Gredy bastards ! |

I have registered, changed and updated hundreds of domains
with netsol. I never had a single problem and it never took more than 24 hours. I don't see what's the problem. I do admit that I have never parked domains them in their DNS. I do have my own dns servers.. DynaMite

Anything with Netsol is a nightmare. Or it was last time I used them.
I had to make a DNS switch on a domain and they fucked it up for 2 weeks. I kept getting emails asking me to verify, then emails telling me I had entered the information wrong, then more verify then more blah blah blah. So I transferred everything off Netsol. Three weeks after I left Netsol and my domains were all somewhere else I got a couple of emails from Netsol telling me my updates had gone through. *blink* Netsol is a dinosaur in every sense of the word. It's big, dumb, outdated, and doomed to die. |
