it sucks - you can't let it gnaw away at you - either you have the ability to just let it go or you do whatever it takes to make you feel right about the situation. the phrase 'don't get mad ........ get even' isn't without merit occassionally.

Its one of those things where you just have to take one step backwards, take a deep breath, and don't let it bug you. It happens. I don't say that to sound insensitive, but it happens to a lot of us more often than we'd like.

Taking that step backwards allows you to look at the issue, and then figure out how to rectify it. Sometimes though, that involves confrontation.

sometimes it requires confrontation , but when you're dealing with someone who has only seemed to give you info when it benefited them and kept you hanging a LOT I think i might just wait and see what happens.

The person is getting the idea i think SLOWLY that i'm pissed at them - although i honestly don't think they really know the REAL reason why. in fact i'm willing to bet they don't know know the real reason, but when i ran it across a few close friends to see if i had a right to be pissed they all pretty much wanted to BITCH SLAP this person for how they treated me. it wasn't nice to say the least...........

I think what hurts more is that they go out of the way to be real nice to you, to make you feel IMPORTANT to them and then slowly fades, then they come back again slowly creeping on getting your attention, distractign you buy being really nice, pay attention to you and then... Bam you realize they are wanting somethign from you AGAIN.
