There are time and place for everything, if you think keeping your own style and don't give a shit about how your employers think because if he doen't like how you dress then he isnt the type of person you want to work with. That's pretty naive man... the boss doen't have time to get to know you to know that you're a good workout so you just have to adapt.

my resume/past experience speaks for itself, and any person I have worked for or with knows that....and if you don't wanna work with me causwe I showed up in t-shirts and ripped jeans, then fine, i don't wanna work with you either

and let me follow all this up....I have worn t-shirt and jeans for almost 15 years now, i don't even USE a closet, cause I have NOTHING to hang up. I have never been turned down a job, and I have never lost any work because of my appearance.

My business partner has full tattoo sleeves, pierced everything....I have tattoos on each of my arms, and huge gaping holes in my ears...do you really think us dressing up business casual makes a difference when there is steel coming out our heads in wierd places? nope...they care about our resume, plain and simple...we know our shit, and that is all people working with us care about.

dude, I just spent the week in NYC with a porn chic and I couldnt believe all the pansy looking guys, even she commented on the metrosexual look and says it makes her wanna puke. I guess thats what happens when to many people are pushed to close together, you lose your individuality.

I can only say that I have made enough money to dress however I wish and that happens to be very casual. Often just t-shirts and sweats, sometimes trousers and a button up.
I have no desire to try to impress others with how much I can spend on clothing or jewelry. Plus it is much more entertaining and enlightening to see who treats you which way by just judging your attire.

I'm not into the whole metrosexual look at all but I do like to "look nice". But honestly, in my opinion you can "look nice" in a t-shirt and jeans all night long if you do it right.

My version of dressing up is a pair of dark black jeans and a long sleeve collared shirt with stripes. It looks nice and is somewhat casual at the same time.

I have about 7 blazers and about 5 full suits.
