a program to search ALL my text files
i need to find a text file somewhere on my computer that contains a certant phrase
any program that will open all my text files and find the prhase i want?

if you're on windows xp the "search" function in the start menu will do that. Go to search then "all files and folders" then "advanced options"

Try google desktop. It will take a while to index all data on your HDD but then the search gets done incredibly fast. ;)
