:mad I got spyware which is impossible to get rid of

I HAVE TRIED EVERYTHING and I still get pop ups from starware.com and a few random dating domains

I have run Spybot - Search and Destroy, Ad-Aware, Spyware Doctor, SpyCatcher, CWS Shredder and HiJackThis and cannot what gives me these fuckin pop ups.

Any help would be wonderful, thanx in advance

Should have done (or maybe you still can) a System Restore in the Windows Utilities menu. Works like a charm.

Try a system restore (as mentioned above) or try microsoft's antispyware

I had a browser hijack that was so bad that it forced me to reformat my C:\

I think it was www[googly].v73.[googly]us or something like that. I added the googly's so it wouldn't create a link that some dumbass would click.

do this
Add the following to a text file:

[HKEY_CURRENT_USER\Software\Microsoft\Windows\Curre ntVersion\Internet Settings\ZoneMap\Domains\starware.com]
*=dword:00000004
and save the file as a .reg then run the file to block this activeX control.

Make sure you check your add/remove programs for the Starware toolbar and remove it.

Delete the folder Software Distribution under C:\Windows.

Download and run Giant AntiSpyware from www.giantcompany.com scan system.

Let m e know how it works out!

i just had one that loaded up pharmacy searches in some search window, had to reformat because I tried 4 spy removal programs. not fun, I have spysweeper running now so not sure how good that is
