did you not understand anything i said? of course anyone knows you can buy spots on all the tgps. but when people see the stats that come along with a gallery that they can make a similiar gallery for and promote the same sponsor, then thats competition you dont want.

if i have a gallery that i can double my $ on.... then i'm going to keep it to myself or other people will copy me.

I`m stating the obvious here but you and I both know that listing a similar designed gallery using the same site / sponsor on the same TGP doesn`t mean anything in terms of whether it is going to work time and time again.

Not an exact scientific experiment but it should be interesting. Will you share which sites members from TheHung listings signed up for as well?

the question about the hun converting, is not really about if you make a sale, its about does the amount of sales equal the bandwith used. You you make 10 sales, but have 98,000 hits to get those sales, those 10 sales will not pay the bandwith bill. But if your using free hosted galleries you dont care about the bandwith used.

APC is an awesome sponsor...

These spots are paid for though, so he needs to make at least $200 per listing just to break even. If you could time your spots to a sponsor $50 promotion or laptop giveaway it would be easier to profit.

With my last free listing on the hun. I think I got a total of 4 sales.

you pay for the spot and pay for the bandwith, 200$ would not let you break even for both.

No, just fuckin' around... it'll be an interesting read, but as already stated there are so many damn variables as to whether a Hun listing converts.

For example, the first single-girl site I created got a free Hun listing... but the girl wasn't that uber-hot and thus did not convert well in the Hun traffic with all the competition there. Still got 4 sales from it the first 2 days, though.

OK, from my old experience usually clicks to sponsors are about 10% .. so if conversion is 1:9800 that means their were at lest 98000 users viewing that gallery per sale.

at 770k per user (based on 4 fully loaded pictures average, and average thumbnails size)
that's approx 75gig *Cheap hosting $1/gig =$75

since a sell is at most $50, how is this affordable?

and even if its hosted galleries by the sponsor.. how is this affordable for the sponsors?

I need some more sales to cover the spot, hosting and labor. It will remain on the first page for two more days though and then go to the archives and the searchengines.

10% ctr? doubtful it'd be that high

770k per user based on FOUR pictures? learn to optimise.

$1 a gig? Find a new host.

You may want to change those console links on your tour, they disable the back button when trying to return to the gallery from the paysite tour which will get you in some trouble if any surfers complain.
