When you buy something online and it doesnt work

who should pay for the shipping to replace it? I bought something that doesnt work and they told me to send it back for a replacement but I have to pay for the shipping, seems fucked up to me, why should I pay for their fuckup? Whats normal in this situation?

they pay the shipping. it's their responsibility to make sure they are sending out their products FUNCTIONING and sending it appropriately to ensure that it doesn't get fucked up - mid transit.

you shouldn't be stuck with paying for shipping in this case whether you bought it online or not...

Actually it was off of Ebay. But it was a brand new item from a powerseller. It was a $125 item and cost $40 to ship. I know Paypal doesnt help worth a shit when it comes to stuff like this.
