I've pretty much said all I think I need to say to Donnie anyway... hopefully I've shed some light on at least a little piece of reality for him... I'd hate to see him flounder through life completely in the dark....

Amp, Please i beg of you type ur witty asshole like replys shorter! my eyes are hurting from reading all this thread. as far as donnie disliking you bc u are an asshole.. bo fuckin who.. When i came here back in august and asked for help. I didnt get a single lick of help but i got alota bullshit from (kman, amp, boneprone, dawgy, teengodfather, and pr0) alota people so i turned that negative insite into a way to show them up.. still workin out it though so please I'm asking with everything in me. I guess what so many fail to realize is that everything you read is not necessarily what you're reading.

Have you ever listened to the radio? Ever hear something like, the morning drive jock team get into an on air fight with the program director because they pulled some stunt on a listener and got 40 people calling up ranting and raving about how shitty they were to do that? The program manager suspends them indefinately for gross insubordination, replaces them with the late night guy or something and then they talk about it all day long?

Do you think that is real?

It's... a.... bit. A SHOW.

The program director did not just indefinately suspend the 2 guys that are bringing in $400+ per 60 second spot because they pulled a stunt. They're on vacation somewhere drinkin' Pina Coladas. Notice how in a week or two, they are *magically* reinstated?

It's not real. It is in fact, very planned and practiced.

But it's not ALL bullshit either. A radio jock may talk about something that happened to him the night before at a club or on a drive to somewhere or something that may, in fact, be an actual thing that occured to him... but from your side of the radio, you may never know where the real ends and the bit begins... that's how it should be. It makes for good radio.

Now... some of you may take everything you read here very seriously.... everything you post may be done in all seriousness... that's all good and well... if that's how you choose to interpret this board... but for ME? This is a place to have fun and cut loose.... "Amputate Your Head" is my goddamned radio show....

When I tell someone to format c: because they have a browser setting that's screwing up, do you think that I REALLY mean they should format their hard drive? Of course not. The leakin' water jugs, the flapjacks..... it's a goddamned show people. Do you think I act this way with my clients??? Of course not. I wouldn't have any if I did. Ask anyone that has spoken with me on icq about something or asked for advice or for quotes on a job or whatever... what I do here in the public forum for entertainment value is vastly different than what I do as an actual person.

No one pays me to do this... it probably wouldn't be near as funny shit if they were... this is something I allow myself during my day to break up workloads, and because it's just a helluva lotta fun.... sure I fuck around almost all the time here... because it's FUNNY! But I also try to help with the real questions people have here if and when I'm in the mood and happen to have a few of the answers... so, again... it's not ALL bullshit.... but you gotta use a little bit of common sense to be able to separate the nonsense from the real...

and for the love of god,... lighten up... not everything needs to be taken dead seriously people... christ... laugh a little... it'll make your whole day better.
