Dreamweaver Question - Mult. Window Design (switch/drag and drop)

How can I work on 2 pages at once (exchanging content between the two pages) in design view without having to click the tabs to see 1 design view at a time.

I would like to drag/drop images from one page to another (different layout), so copy/paste of the images is not really helpful in my case.

Suggestions?

Are you using Dreamweaver 8? It's pretty straightforward with that I believe, although I don't ever use design view.

IIRC, you can use Ctrl+F6 to switch between two windows. It's been a while though, so don't quote me on that.

it SUCKS you can't do it with MX

you have to go back to the older versions.

I am not sure if they fixed that in Dream Weaver 8.0

I'm running Dreamweaver 8 right now and I can open 2 design windows side by side and drag and drop, but that acts as a "move". I can also select and CTRL-C and CTRL-V into the next window wherever I want to paste it. Also, Dreamweaver 8 has a multiple monitor layout that's nice.

Oh also I think you can download a 30 day version of DW 8 to try out for free at the Macromedia site.
