it's a host process activity that usually at XP you see it up to 5 times; basically it handles processes executed by dlls. One of the stupid things about xp is that you cant tell what exactly this process you see is all about and vista will remain the same, but instead 5 its like 500 now lol

run - msconfig - startup and uncheck some of those unless your happy with all those processes at startup. I agree it can be difficult trying to discern what the processes correspond to. I'm guessing you must have a decent amount of ram.

can u post up the child protection settings?

when you create a new profile/logon, looking to see if they have the child protection pre-checked, or you have to check it.
