Banks ask for collateral and expect you to follow the terms of the loan agreement.

Well, ask those references for the $1000 then if they trust you. If your bank won't extend a line of credit of only $1000, then there's a serious problem with your credit. And I seriously doubt its because of lack of credit history, even broke students or people on welfare can get a credit card with $1000 credit limit. There's gotta be something more behind your credit history for your bank to refuse a mere $1000 line of credit.

Then why not ask them for a loan? You signed up to GFY in 2003, I would hope you have made some good friends over those 2 years.

If I ever really needed $1k for whatever reason, or even just a loan, there are at least a dozen people in this industry alone that I know would hook me up. Really, $1k is not a lot of money to somebody who REALLY needs/wants the money.

Oh, by the way, "board credit" isn't worth much. You get real credit and real reputation when you do actual business with people.

GFY credit, ahaha. You people.

Proof of income usually suffices, unless of course there is no income...

I checked my Experian report and it said "GFY Board Credit - Good". I plan using that reference to borrow on my PO box I keep getting emails telling me I can take a mortgage out on.

Well, now if you were OFFERING to loan me money I'd be a little more forthcoming with the personal information. That's why I asked anyone who was interested to email me. I would not put my income, home address, phone number, tax information etc. etc. on the board.

I was replying to someone who had no interest in doing business with me.

It's not everyone's business, it's only the business of the people who are actually interested in my proposal. Wouldn't you agree?

It makes you 20 times richer than dagwood. I will make sure your board credit report reflects that, also.

Keep your hard earned money- I will give you one on the house.

Almost every sponsors provide free content, some even provide you with free hosting to promote them with - so all you have to do is put in the time to use these tools to make the cash you're seeking......

If you can't make 1K from doing *just* that - you have no business being in this business.

You also said "I estimate that by putting an extra $1000 into my business right now I can generate an extra $2000/mo every month, and go up from there."

If you don't have the skills to turn a $100 of profit website into a $300 of profit website or a $500 of profit website into a $1000 of profit website - exactly how do you think getting $1000 is going to magically turn into $2000 of profit - much less substain that amount of profit on a reoccurring basis?

Surely your grand master plan isn't to buy some CJ or 404 traffic and hope you can convert a % of that into increased sales and use the rest to increase your trades (if you run a tgp)?

Give numbers - what sites you own, where they were in traffic last month - where are they today.... show conversion ratio's that prove to potential loaners that you're able to convert any increased traffic to your sites if they were to loan you money to buy it.

Otherwise, your "estimation" is nothing more than a number you've pulled (or could have pulled) out a hat.

You could always sell a domain... I always finance my needs with this method and it works quite well. You just have to replace it with 2-50 more...

Actually time is what I need the $1000 for. I have content, hosting, domains, skills, software, equipment, connections.

All I need is time. I want to buy some. You see, when you have a large family, your time is not free.
Email me if you have $1000 sitting idle and are interested in making money with it. Otherwise you're wasting your time and mine.

There is no reason why you wouldn't want to borrow from your bank for less interest, plus you build up credit unless...you are on welfare and do not pay taxes on your "income". I might be wrong

There is just too much here that doesn't hold water.

You claim to be building credit with the purchase of household goods. If finance companies are extending you credit to purchase household goods than there are about 50 banks that would issue you a VISA with at least a $1000 credit line within a day or two.

Hey JMM - long time no see..

Yep, if a person's fico scores are 1/2 way good - a 1k loan or a new cc won't be hard at all.

I completely missed your offer for a bump in payouts. I haven't used your AVS (although I'm considering it for some projects, it looks like a good system). Thank you for the offer but since I haven't done anything to earn it, since it's not a promo and I'm not one of your top sellers I'd have to consider that charity and politely decline at this time.

No disrespect to you.

I know what you mean about the "time" thing - it's a bitch to find. Since I've been in the biz I've only been able to:

- Take the first adult freehost from 400K traffic/day to over 1 million/day
- Take XXXCounter from 0 websites counted to over 20,000
- Invented Spyware - spawned the spyware and spyware removal industry
- Develop a mainstream software application - currently in negotiations for $500,000.00 in venture capital to launch a company around it - but minus the attitude you seem to have and + 4 years of spreadsheets and a full - business plan you don't seem to be able to provide (sorry, don't play down at the 1K level anymore)
- Develop a new program for the adult industry that is going to pay the paysite owners (as well as the webmaster affiliates) instead of the other way around (current methods) that's going to (ok, not change) but certainly going to put a dent in - the way some things are done in the webmaster affiliate programs.

Perhaps not the most prolific resume' in the industry, but I don't think it's something anyone would sneeze at

All this and I have a special needs child at home - so yeah, that time thing IS a bitch ? whatcha? doing with yours?
