I have my desktop and laptop side by side, sharing mouse and keyboard with synergy...

But honestly I often feel that it's making me LESS productive rather than more...

Multiplicity is like synergy but not free?

I have one monitor, wide screen, and that's fine. I also have a TV to my left, and on my right is a touchscreen used only for email. That's more than enough.

I'm not using monitors at all :)

Using at least 2 monitors has seriously increased my productivity.

The best part about this thread is that all of the specs that people used to consider hardcore are now standard.

I figured a 27" iMac would do it all, but that is a great set up.

3. A 22 inch wide in the middle and two 15 inch on each side for email, testing, hulu, etc. Perfect for me.
