I am waiting for it in the burbs of Portland.
Have a friend with 15/2 and another with 30/5, speeds are great and the new Fios tv is supposed to rock. Check out: http://www.dslreports.com/forum/vzfiber good reading on Fios

I have Fios in 2 locations 1 office and 1 residental that I set up at my parents house for them.
I have Comcast cable at my Condo in Boston. I love the comcast and the speed is up to 8MB now too. I have the 15MB service on both Fios accounts and have mixed feelings about it. It is great for downloading large files but to be honest feels slow when surfing. It seems to take a while to load pages...almost like they are stuck or something. Maybe I need to do some tweaks to my computers on the fios network but I like the comcast better so far. My
