Cost VS Reputation!!
My sites are powered By Webair. I use the virtual basic plan that gives me 150 gigs a month for $19.95.
Now that traffic is slightly picking up & I intend to begin gallery submissions, I started looking at other plans to make sure I have adequate BW. I found a host that offers 330Gb for $7.50 I'm seriously thinking about making a move as cost is a determining factor, but I am concerned about quality customer service as well. Webair has excellent customer service & I would hate it if I moved to the lower cost host & sacrificed support. Anyway, what's more important for you all? Are you willing to pay more for better customer service, or are you looking for the best deal. Tech wise, this other host I am looking at buying seems equivalent, but in other aspects such as features, it seems superior. What's the best way to make the switch to make sure there's no downtime. there's a few sites & quite a few domains. |

Support is cruical for me so it trumps costs.
Best way to switch. Copy everything to new box while leaving current copy in place. Preload the domain on new box. Made registrar change to point to new box. Unless you have fowarding then its almost instant.
