Let me clue you in. Most of us actually have cable television and/or read news websites. At least I assume we all have internet access.

I am offended everytime I log onto this board and see a post written by some adolescent sally who thinks he is being pimp by starting a thread at midnight r.e. a news story that I saw on tv 16 hours earlier at 4am while I was checking stats and drinking coffee and starting my day. I'm offended because your doing that (after your 12 hour X-Box session you fucking geek bitch) implies that I am some cretin who has no ability to track world events other than through an adult webmaster board.

Copying and Pasting crap from API is spam and should be treated as such.

Everyone can watch the "tv" but you can't discuss very much with a "tv". The whole point of bringing a news item to a forum is so everyone can discuss it.

This being said , this is a webmaster forum so webmaster related articles are usually preferred , but i would be a liar if i said i never started a non-industry news related thread..

What bugs ME is when i see news articles that are already on the front page , or people who start news article threads with titles like "holy shit" so others wont know if the item has been posted or not..

specially when the item is something like "tsunami" and theres 5 other threads with "tsunami" in the thread title..
