I've never tried transfering money into the PayPal account. I've not seen any reason to, as I don't want my $$ sitting in that account, or any similiar type of payment processing account.

That immediately takes shows a hit against your funding source within their system. The recipient will get an email right away saying that you have sent them money. I've never tried transfering money into the PayPal account.
