Paul Cambria is one of the preeminent first amendent attorneys working in the adult industry - he represents alot of hardcore video studios/producers, including i guess now LFP (Larry Flynt Productions). Here is the new list of prohibited sexual acts and behaviour LFP shooters were sent. 90% of hardcore porn currently being shot would be in danger of an obscenity charge/conviction according to Cambria's new list.

To all LFP Video directors and editors:

The following guidelines must be followed for all video and box cover productions:

1. no shots with the appearance of pain or degradation
2. no Bukkake
3. no spitting or saliva mouth to mouth
4. no food as a sex object
5. no urination at all
6. no blindfolds
7. no wax dripping
8. no bondage or bondage type toys or gear, unless very light
9. no hands from two different people fingering the same girl
10. no male/male penetration
11. no transsexuals
12. no degrading dialogue
13. no menstruation topics
14. no incest topics
15. no forced sex or rape themes
16. no bestiality
17. no hands(s) around someone?s neck

I'm not a fan of these but I'd have a hard time thinking the DOJ would be stupid enough to go after gay sex and call it obscene.

Cambria is somthing of a Chicken Little type guy - but in some state counties - hell yea just shooting gay sex could end up in an obscenity charge - which is why smart people dont set up shop in places like that.

Given the idiocy of that list - they best be informing NBC, CBS, ABC, FOX and all the other networks and tell`em to close up shop. On any given night, its not difficult to see many of the acts listed on mainstream network broadcasts.

"Degrading" is subjective. I find any dialogue uttered by Pamela Anderson degrading to the collective intelligence of women.

Guess we'll never see anyone bound or gagged in Law & Order any longer. No death by choking. No incest episodes on SVU.

Just one more clear indicator that the U.S. feds are so incredibly fucked, its laughable.

You have to understand that penthouse doesnt have to cross lines anymore. So that list was a "play it safe list."
but as with any business risk is always there... Whether its real estate, the market, or investing in a cafe. You have to risk something to reap something.

It's one of the funniest things I have read for a while. Do you truly think that there is no difference between a 1 hour porn video showing a girl getting raped in great detail compared with a suggestion of attack in 15 seconds on an a episode of SVU?

Do you not understand the difference between someone bound a gagged as part of a dramatic show (say, L&O) compared to a girl bound and gaged and forced to have sex without consent in an hour video that shows that action in great detail?

The only thing that makes these things similar is the bizarre absolutes that are used in junior debate squads.

We have had Mr. Cambria representing us since the 1900's and while the firm's advice is often times very conservative- your chances with Mr. Cambria on Your Side are a lot higher than should he be on the other side...

The risk-reward scenario is something that is difficult to quantify btw imho. You risk, get rewarded and then get all the rewards and then some stripped away later if you assume the wrong sort of risk for the time's we live in.

If you possessed any degree of intellect and comprehension, you'd have realized that's not what I said whatsoever. What I'm saying is there are acts on that list that are shown regularly on network television. After re-reading the thread - I failed to find where anyone was attacking or contradicting Cambria. But rather, the focus seems to be rightfully against the government. Cambria is the messenger...making advisements to the industry as he sees fit.
