I ain't even gonna try to imagine where computers are going to be in 5 to 10 years. I'm lucky I get to see the entertainment applications via the toy and gaming industries and they're changing fast. Coolest thing was 3D interactive websites and game characters. I expect to see very lifelike interactive dolls like a walking talking breathing Barbie in 10 years. If we make it as a civilization in the next 10 years, it'll be worth it. |

It's really, really, vicious. You see those commercials about companies that want to help you with your invention, but what they don't tell you is the final hurdle, funding, ends up with the investors getting 99.9% of your shit. That's why it takes forever for a new invention to hit the market if it can hit the market at all. The Japanese are different in this that they know a good thing when they see it. |
