Last Wednesday evening I recieved the sad news that Geoff had passed away suddenly.

Those that knew Geoff will remember him as a friendly, funny and generous guy.

He will be missed.

Geoff was a regular reader and occasional poster here at GFY. I am reluctant to post a messages like this on public boards, but at this stage I have no other way of passing the news to Geoff's online friends and contacts.

OH NO!!!!!! What happened? I, like SR, didn't know him well but he and I have had several laughs on here. I am so sad to hear this news, it's always sad to hear these things. He will be sorely missed. This is strange because I was wondering about him the other day, among a few others that used to post here and haven't posted in a long time.

Please give his family our sympathy.

god bless... i didnt know him, but it was chilling to just do a search for his posts and read words someone wrote just a few days ago... its weird, like... his signature, talked about money being the only thinkg in life or something to that affect.....

kinda makes you not wanna take things we have for granted...shrug

I had been chatting with Geoff just hours before he died.

When I last spoke to his wife, a cause of death had not been determined.

All we know is he went out to grab something from the store and collapsed. He had been showing no signs of any illness, It's all very sudden and unexpected.

That sucks, I didnt know him either, just puts life a bit into perspective, like Kmanrox said "kinda makes you not wanna take things we have for granted."

It's scary how people have been dying younger and younger these days.

I'm speechless

We just hired Geoff to do some work for us at Dark Dollars, Inc.

I remember fondly, the late night chats (late night for me, normal business hours for Geoff) in the old NetPond Chatroom and us even talking about that, leading up to us hiring him as one of our first employees.

I am truly saddened by this news and my deepest condolences to his family and friends.
